The Institution of Engineers, Singapore Fund (IESF) proudly announced the successful conclusion of the IESF Charity Golf 2024 on 30 July (Tuesday), at Sentosa Golf Club with Guest-of-Honour Mr Seah Kian Peng, the Speaker of Parliament in attendance.

This year's event raised an impressive $220,000 to support two commendable causes: $60,000 for the Moral Home for the Aged Sick and $160,000 for the newly launched IESF Scholarship Fund. To read more, click here.

Energy Efficiency Opportunities (EEO) ASSESSOR - SCEM Networking 2024

The IES EEO Assessor - SCEM Monitoring Committee is pleased to resume the annual SCEM Networking Session post-Covid-19. The event aimed to foster networking and connections among EEOA and SCEM professionals.

SCEM Networking 2024 highlights included talks by distinguished speakers Mr. Jeff Choong, Regional Sales Manager at Piller SEA Pte Ltd, and Mr. Lee Juin Sian, Site Energy Manager at The LYCRA Company Singapore Pte Ltd. The session was a success with around 140 participants.

The IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award 2024


The aim of the award is to promote engineering as a profession and to recognize an individual for his/her contributions in Engineering that have had far-reaching impacts on society. 

Eligible candidates are invited to submit nominations using the IES/IEEE Joint Medal of Excellence Award nomination form, available here. For criteria and eligibility, click here. The recipient will receive the award at the IES 58th Annual Dinner on 15 October 2024.

Climate Change Technical Committee
 

The IES Engineering Excellence Group invites professionals to join the Climate Change Technical Committee, established to drive initiatives in the field of climate change. Our objectives include:

  • Empowering and promoting leadership in the climate change sector.
  • Raising awareness among professionals in Science, Engineering, and Climate Change.
  • Engaging aspiring students and professionals in climate change initiatives.
  • Strengthening the community dedicated to addressing climate change issues.

We achieve these goals through a variety of social and professional events and activities, in collaboration with other IES members.

We are seeking dynamic members who are passionate about supporting, developing, and advancing this crucial field.
